    The F65EAC-IT32 is powered by the 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3210M (Ivy Bridge) Dual-Core processor (up to 3.10 GHz).

    • Performance Note: Unlike modern low-voltage CPUs, this is a standard voltage "M-Series" mobile processor, providing robust computing power for demanding logic processing in older automation systems.
  • Why is this older "Ivy Bridge" model still relevant today?

    The key reason is Windows 7 Native Support. Many industrial machines and proprietary software suites were built for Windows 7 and cannot run on Windows 10/11. The F65EAC-IT32 allows factories to replace failing hardware without the expensive risk of upgrading their entire software infrastructure.

  • Which operating systems are supported?

    Its strongest feature is full driver support for Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WS7P) and Windows 7 Pro. However, it also supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux, offering a migration path if you decide to upgrade the OS later.

  • Is the F65EAC-IT32 fanless?

    Yes, it features a Fanless Cooling Design.

    • Engineering Feat: Cooling a 35W TDP processor (i5-3210M) without a fan is challenging. Winmate utilizes a highly efficient aluminum finned chassis to dissipate heat passively, ensuring reliability in dusty environments where fans would fail.
  • What memory type does it use?

    It uses DDR3 / DDR3L SO-DIMM memory (2 slots), supporting up to 16GB.

    • Important: Since this is the Ivy Bridge platform, it is not compatible with newer DDR4 RAM. You must use DDR3 modules.
  • What expansion slots are available?

    The system includes 1 x Full-size Mini-PCIe and 1 x Half-size Mini-PCIe slot. These are typically used to add Wi-Fi/BT modules or cellular (3G/4G) connectivity cards for remote monitoring.

  • What storage options are available?

    It accommodates 1 x 2.5-inch SATA SSD or HDD. For vibration-prone environments (like heavy machinery), an Industrial SSD is recommended. For static servers requiring large logs, a high-capacity HDD can be used.
