    The EACIM20 is the Standard Base Model of the series. It is designed for applications that require a simple, reliable, and cost-effective gateway to collect data via standard ports (USB/LAN) and send it to the cloud without the need for extra expansion modules.

  • How small is the EACIM20?

    It is ultra-compact, measuring approximately 100 x 70 x 31 mm. It is one of the smallest industrial x86 gateways on the market, easily fitting inside robotic arms or crowded distribution boards.

  • What I/O ports come standard?

    Despite its tiny size, it packs essential connectivity: 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x Gigabit LAN, and 1 x HDMI output.

  • Why does it have two LAN ports?

    Dual LAN ports allow for Network Segmentation. You can connect one port to your internal factory equipment (OT Network) and the other to the internet/cloud (IT Network), keeping your critical machinery isolated from external cyber threats.

  • Does it support Wi-Fi or BT?

    Yes. While it has wired LAN, it also supports optional Wi-Fi + BT modules for wireless connectivity, with pre-drilled antenna holes on the chassis.

  • What operating systems are supported?

    It officially supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux (Ubuntu 18.04/20.04), providing flexibility for both Microsoft-based IT teams and open-source developers.

  • Is the RAM upgradable?

    No. It comes with 4GB LPDDR3/LPDDR4 memory that is soldered onboard. This is a deliberate design choice to enhance reliability and shock resistance.

  • What is the operating temperature range?

    It supports a standard industrial range of 0°C to 50°C, which is sufficient for most indoor factory and building automation environments.

  • Can it be used for digital signage?

    Yes. The HDMI port supports Full HD (1080p) output, allowing the EACIM20 to function as a compact media player for basic kiosks or information displays.
