What is the main selling point of the EACIL67?
The EACIL67 is a fully IP67-Rated embedded computer. This means it is completely dust-tight and can withstand immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 mins) or high-pressure washdowns.
Why do the connectors look different?
Instead of standard USB or LAN ports, it uses M12 Waterproof Connectors. Standard ports would allow water ingress; M12 connectors screw lock to create a watertight seal.
What cables do I need?
You will need M12-to-USB or M12-to-LAN adapter cables to connect standard peripherals. These are typically sold as accessories by Winmate.
How does it handle heat if it is completely sealed?
The entire metal chassis acts as a giant heatsink. Additionally, it often features a Gore-tex Breather Valve that allows air pressure to equalize (preventing seal failure due to temperature changes) while blocking water molecules.
What industries is this model designed for?
Yes, but you must use special IP67 Waterproof Antennas. The connectors for the antennas are also sealed to maintain the IP rating.
Can I use Wi-Fi with the metal case?
The power connection on the device is a waterproof M12 DC connector. You would typically run the cable to a dry cabinet or use a waterproof power supply unit.
Is the power supply waterproof?
Due to its weight and rugged nature, it supports VESA Mount or dedicated Ear Mounts (flanges on the side) to bolt it securely to a wall, pole, or machine frame.
How is it mounted?
Yes. It uses the same Intel® Celeron® N3350 processor. It is essentially the same reliable computer inside, just wearing "heavy armor."
Does it have the same performance as the other models?
Absolutely. The M12 connectors provide a screw-locking mechanism that is far superior to standard USB/RJ45 for vibration resistance, making it perfect for moving vehicles or shaking machinery.
